We begin harvesting and
drying our blooms late in the season as soon as they have
“hardened off.” The colors then change; the whites become a
very light green with a touch of pink on the edges, the baby
blue variety becomes an apple green, and the purples and
French blues become jewel tones (a beautiful combination of
blue and green with burgundy edges).
